    Celebration cakes: ideally 1–3+ weeks ahead.
    Sweet catering: typically several weeks ahead, depending on size and complexity.

  • Sometimes. If you’re close to your date, still reach out—minimal designs are usually the easiest to accommodate.

  • No. The retainer is non-refundable. In some cases, it may be applied as a credit toward a future order.

  • Wedding orders are paid in full 2 weeks before the event date. Celebration cakes are paid before production.

  • Small adjustments are usually possible. Major design changes may be limited closer to your date.

  • Tell us your guest count and how you plan to serve cake. We’ll recommend the best size.

  • Our service area is focused around Mount Desert Island and surrounding coastal Maine. Extended delivery may be possible based on date and logistics.

  • We can accommodate select dietary requests when possible, including gluten-free options. Our kitchen is not allergen-free, and we can’t guarantee zero cross-contact. If you’d like specialty ingredients—such as organic ingredients or higher-protein adjustments—we can usually offer that for an additional cost.
